The Australian share market has seen a one day decline of 0.58 per cent, closing the day at 5904.90.
Big movers today included Afterpay Touch which was up 2.8 per cent.
If follows a rollercoaster week for the company after the announcement that payday lenders and ‘buy now, pay later’ businesses including Afterpay will be the subject of a new Senate inquiry into parts of the finance sector that escaped the scrutiny of the banking royal commission.
Afterpay finished the day at $12.85.
Shares in Flight Centre took a nosedive today, falling 10 per cent following the company’s AGM today where profits where expected to come in higher than it announced.
